Hear from an Elderly Person

This bill, as far as I am concerned, would take away my choice in some circumstances; it puts power into people/families who are not emotionally stable themselves at this time of the illness.

I am very much concerned [about] the “End of Life Choice Bill.” I am 67 and wish to live my life until I die a natural death. This bill, as far as I am concerned would take away my choice in some circumstances; it puts power into people/families who are not emotionally stable themselves at this time of the illness.

It’s my body, my life and I want to live in it for as long as possible. I do not believe I will be left in agony of years of pain and suffering. I don’t know anyone who has been over the last 10 years and numerous funerals.

I do not believe in Euthanasia or Assisted Suicide.

Leave us oldies alone and think about climate change!
